Canvas Weald -Streak-

Oh man I see I missed alot after about a week lol, will get to comment on otha peepz updates and stuff. Well later anyway, its 10 mins to 2am so im bloody knackered.

This is a placeholder, still need to do a few things (like the bug incisors and Streaks mouth) before I can truly say its finished xD.

Will add moar info and stuff later!!

NB: The place and the...firebug thingies are made-up by me and are not actually part of the Equira canon.

Info time!

Canvas Weald is the name I gave the setting of this piece, and it's on the borders of forest and grassland...somewhere xD. I'll explain the nomenclature: I named it a Weald because there is a wooded area called The Weald somewhere SE England. I'm british.. shutup D:
Canvas refers to the way the firebug thingamajigs basically 'paint' the place with their asslights.

I'll also try to explain the structure of this slightly odd place too! xD

Night and Day, the firefly thingys are always seen hovering around. This is important as they provide the only source of light to most of the grasses and other much smaller plants on the forest floor which normally would not survive in poorly-lit areas (The big trees keep most of the sunlight to themselves the greedy bastards!!!). The grasses etc. are thus specialized plants that have adapted to absorbing the greenish light emitted from the bugs.
The blue trees are called Azure Floss Trees and have an abundance of exceptionally sweet alcohol (An equiran xylotol i guess) which can be extracted from their bark, and also gives them their bluish hue.

The firebug thingies...I might as well give em names too. I guess, I'll christen their species as the Painter Harefly. Painter to match with their role in naming of Canvas Weald, and Harefly because they have bunny ear thingies and are... flies xD. Originally, I had a campfire as the light source, but thought that was too boring so I thought of glowing fungi, then firebugs and stuck with that. Then I kinda panicked because at the time I thought there weren't any 'regular' animals in equira so I made up random firebuggy designs. I finished them before I read the FAQ to find that there are indeed regular animal life on equira as well. FACK. Oh well. Maybe they'll get me originality points or something xD

Oh and if you notice I actually updated the image. Now the other harefly glowy balls have wings and stuff, there is more moonlightyness and Lacuna (I REAAALLY Effed up here though, especially with his eye- DAMNIT) intrudes on the scene, as well as other minor details that dont really matter much xD

Oh..were you expecting a bio for Streak? Maybe next time, lol
